Inaugurated in 1958 by General Charles de Gaulle, CNIT (Centre of New Industries and Technologies) was one of the first buildings in La Défense, the largest purpose-built business district in Europe. With the largest unsupported concrete vault in the world at 22,500 sqm and 46 meters high, the building is an architectural marvel. In March 2017, CNIT MOVE, a space equipped with a climbing wall and escape game was inaugurated. CNIT also has the largest Anticafé co-working spaces in Europe. The mixed-use destination also features a hotel and offices.
