Westfield London is the UK’s leading retail, leisure and destination. Following the completion of the Westfield London expansion, just 10 years since first opening in 2008, the centre is now the largest retail destination in Europe at 2.6m sq. ft.
Westfield London in total houses 450 retail outlets, ranging across luxury, premium and high street retailers. The centre is anchored by four major department stores, John Lewis & Partners, House of Fraser, Debenhams, M&S and Next and supermarket, Waitrose and Partners. More than 40 luxury brands are located within The Village. Westfield London also features over 80 eating concepts.
Entertainment and leisure is an important part of Westfield London. It was the first centre in the UK to create a major events space, The Atrium which has hosted world movie premiers and international music performances. The expansion also features a new two-acre, outdoor events space, Westfield Square which is surrounded by new restaurants and leisure offerings. Plans are in place to bring the adjacent Grade II listed building into public use as a 34,000 sq. ft. events space.
Westfield London is at the heart of one of London’s most important regeneration projects, the wider £8bn White City Opportunity Area, which will bring new homes, offices, restaurants and learning institutions to the area.
Westfield London is a 50:50 joint venture between Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield and German Commerz Real, a subsidiary of Commerzbank AG.
