MORE DETAILS ABOUT THE PRIZE

The Group’s Grand Prize encourages young entrepreneurs to develop innovative retail concepts in Continental Europe.
The three winners share €1.5 Mn and gain access to the Group’s shopping centre portfolio in Continental Europe, where they are able to implement their business concepts.

For each edition, eight projects are selected, following a process involving both the Group in Continental Europe and a public Facebook vote. These finalists receive dedicated coaching from retail professionals, including the Group’s experts in Continental Europe, on all aspects of their projects. After three months of mentoring, the finalists pitch their projects to a panel of professionals that decide the three winners.

THE 11TH EDITION WINNERS

For the 2017 edition, two projects shared a €1.2 Mn prize to finance their respective stores in the Group’s shopping centres in Continental Europe: Laboté and Canard Street. Liife won the Jury’s Prize of €175,000 to set up a pop-up store in one of the Group’s shopping centres in Continental Europe.

Laboté is both a boutique and a laboratory with a new approach to cosmetics.
It breaks with tradition by providing customers with tailor-made products.

With two sales outlets and a delivery service in Lille, Canard Street applies a “street food” approach to duck meat. Its retail outlets offer a unique blend of dining and duck-based grocery products.

The Paris-based Liife provides amateur athletes with healthy fast food that is adapted to their chosen sport. Its menus are designed to meet the specific nutritional needs of those practicing all types of athletic activity.
