Paris Expo Porte de Versailles is a legendary site built in 1923 to host the Foire de Paris (Paris Trade Fair). The site has been regularly modernised ever since, but never to the extent of the major modernisation project underway today. With five world-renowned architects (Jean Nouvel, Christian de Portzamparc, Dominique Perrault, Jean-Michel Wilmotte and Valode & Pistre), including two Pritzker Prize winners, the 10-year project, set to be delivered in 2024, is being completed without interrupting the site’s activities. In 2024, visitors will discover seven exhibition pavilions and 216,000 sqm of exhibition space, including the largest conference centre in Europe. Other alluring attractions include 72,000 sqm of green spaces, a Michelin-starred restaurant and a trendy Mama Shelter hotel. The site will be home to Triangle, an iconic mixed-use tower project. Paris Expo Porte de Versailles welcomes the biggest French events every year, such as the Foire de Paris (Paris Trade Fair), Le Nautic (Paris International Boat Show), Salon de l’Automobile (Paris International Car Show), and Salon de l’Agriculture (Paris International Agricultural Show).
