Centrum Černý Most, one of the most established and beloved shopping destinations in Czech Republik, will rebrand as Westfield Černý Most this autumn, joining Westfield Chodov as the second Westfield location in the country.

Originally opened in 1997, Centrum Černý Most has played a key role in shaping the retail and leisure landscape in the Czech Republic. As Westfield Černý Most, the centre will become part of URW's unparalleled global network of 40 flagship Westfield destinations across Europe and the United States, offering a unique platform of exceptional retail concepts, brand experiences, immersive events and industry-leading services.

A major expansion in progress

Coinciding with its rebranding, the centre will unveil a new expansion, increasing its retail space from 85,000 sqm to more than 94,000 sqm and introducing 32 new stores and dining concepts. The building extension, designed according to Westfield's latest architectural and experiential standards, will further enhance the centre's position as a leading retail, dining and entertainment hub.

Fully aligned with URW's Better Places commitments, the centre's new extension is being built using sustainable construction techniques, green and reused materials, and strict waste management protocols. It's aiming for an 85% recycling rate and targeting a BREEAM "Excellent" rating.

Elevating the customer experience

This transformation reflects URW's unwavering commitment to elevating the retail, leisure and entertainment experience for visitors, while reinforcing our dedication to innovation, sustainability and community engagement.

New brands will include Knihy Dobrovský, one of the largest booksellers in the Czech Republic, plus JD Sports and clothing stores Reserved, Mohito, Sinsay, Cropp and House.

A new Dining Plaza will offer a refined experience with porcelain tableware and food concepts including Bahn Mi-ba, PHOlévkárna, Popeyes, Loving Hut, and Koykan. The centre's rooftop CineStar multiplex is also undergoing a major upgrade, becoming the second cinema in the Czech Republic to offer a GOLD CLASS, with fully reclining seats, private service during screenings and an exclusive bar.

When unveiled in full this autumn, the refreshed, expanded and rebranded Westfield centre will offer a vibrant space that nurtures community and industry-leading retail experiences.
