In another milestone for our flagship platform, URW's Wroclavia shopping centre in Poland will be rebranded Westfield Wroclavia this September, becoming our third Westfield centre in Poland, alongside Westfield Mokotów and Westfield Arkadia, and our tenth in Central Europe.
Wroclavia will join our network of 41 flagship Westfield destinations across Europe and the US, all renowned for their exceptional retail mix, sustainability standards, industry-leading services, and immersive events and experiences. The rebranding will be officially launched on September 17, 2026, with a dedicated event for the local community and our partners.
Strengthened positioning in a dynamic market
The rebranding is a major strategic step forward in the destination’s ongoing development and positioning, and comes one year ahead of the 10th anniversary of the centre's opening. Poland, and Wrocław in particular, represents a growing market for URW, offering strong potential and a rapidly evolving retail landscape.
By combining the internationally recognised Westfield brand with the centre’s established local identity in Wrocław, the destination is set to further strengthen its attractiveness, while contributing to the appeal of the city and the wider Lower Silesia region.
We continue to roll out the Westfield brand to our flagship centres in Europe. Since 2018, we've expanded the Westfield network considerably, rebranding a total of 21 URW centres, opening two new Westfields – Westfield Mall of the Netherlands and Westfield Hamburg-Überseequartier – and licensing the Westfield name to up to 8 centres in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
