Created in 2007, the “Grand Prix Commerce Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield” fosters innovation in retail by offering promising new concepts the opportunity to develop within the Group’s shopping destinations.



A can’t-miss event for retail entrepreneurs in France, the “Grand Prix Commerce Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield” is a springboard for the most innovative concepts in the industry. 37 startups have been awarded since 2007, including Lunettes pour tous, Tediber, Persillé, Bloomizon, Laboté, Glaces Glazed, Faguo, Jimmy Fairly, Marlette, Canard Street, and the winners of the 2018 edition: Mersea, Freddy’s BBQ, BMK Paris-Bamako and Les Raffineurs. All demonstrated a strong identity and the ability to provide a unique experience to their customers, in a wide range of sectors: food, beauty and wellness, fashion, leisure, etc.

This competition demonstrates Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield’s commitment to shaping the retail of tomorrow by giving young brands access to the most attractive locations. The winners benefit from the Group’s unique retail expertise, and enjoy exceptional financial terms. The three winning concepts will receive a global grant of €1.5M to finance their opening in one of our shopping centres in France.

Startups have until April 13 to apply.
